Circles

I heard the ocean roar,

I felt the cool sea breeze.

A little dog ran up to me,

it chased its tail

around and around in circles.

It reminded me of myself,

my life.

Around and around in circles.

Then I saw a message in the sand.

It said “I love you”

Then I realized,

my circle had stopped.
